A self-professed technophile, Ricky's fascination for computer software developed into a passion for sharing his knowledge in I.T. With more than 2 decades in the I.T. training industry, Ricky's extensive experience comes from teaching as a polytechnic lecturer and corporate instructor.

At Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Ricky taught programming languages as well as web design and web development. As a corporate instructor, Ricky has been a former Adobe Certified Instructor and Adobe Certified Expert since 2006 to 2023. Some of his major clients include GlaxoSmithKline, NOL, AIA, SPH, and Seagate. He has also collaborated with People's Association in organising and conducting I.T. courses for the public in community clubs.

With his diverse experience and broad knowledge, Ricky is an excellent facilitator whose previous participants have greatly benefitted from his insights. Besides understanding the needs of his participants, Ricky's strengths are his clear, focused delivery and his ability to generate enthusiasm. His affable personality and cheerful style mean his lessons are always interesting and engaging.

In September 2016, he obtained his Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). It is a programme under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) that certifies the recipient with the essential skills to deliver training and assessments across different industries.

Ricky is also a paper craft designer and author/publisher of two book titles, “Singapore Chinatown Shophouse Paper Model Kit 1 & 2.

Han has been delivering Adobe software training for over 16 years and was a former Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) and Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) until 2023, when the prestige credentials was discontinued by Adobe worldwide.

In addition, Han holds a Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) with Distinction and is an officially certified adult educator, having earned the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) from Singapore’s Institute for Adult Learning (IAL). Under the Training and Adult Education (TAE) Skills Framework, recognised by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), Han is qualified to perform the roles of learning facilitator, assessor for certifiable courses, and learning solutionist.

Han began his career as a designer in the creative and interactive digital media industry before discovering his deeper passion—empowering others through training. In every lesson, Han is committed to keeping his explanations approachable while clearly connecting the material to realistic, project-based applications. Emphasizing real-world relevance, his sessions are filled with practical scenarios, case studies, and industry-focused examples. As a dedicated trainer, Han’s trainees benefit from having him as a supportive advisor in their projects after attending his courses.
